Frontend Engineer with 8+ years of experience building web and TV products with React, React Native, LightningJS, and TypeScript. My background includes 5+ years in OTT/video products and hands-on Smart TV delivery on Samsung Tizen and LG webOS. At AgileTV, I own the Home vertical on a Smart TV app in LightningJS and SolidJS: virtualized carousels, focus and scale transitions, magic-remote pointer input, and unit-tested view models. I also work on video-player and purchase flows with React Native and ReNative, and spent 17 months coordinating multi-platform delivery across five countries.

Why I do this

I like frontend work where the product experience depends on details users never see: rendering cost, input latency, state transitions, and recovery from failure. I own the Home vertical on a Smart TV app in LightningJS and SolidJS: virtualized carousels, focus and scale transitions, and magic-remote pointer input. My OTT work also covers video-player and purchase flows with React Native and ReNative.

Smart TV app in LightningJS, SolidJS and TypeScript. Own the Home vertical: virtualized carousels, focus and scale transitions, magic-remote pointer input, and unit-tested view models. OTT app in React Native and ReNative: live, VOD and catch-up playback, HLS streaming, multi-DRM and CDN resilience, EPG and content screens, analytics, device sign-in, and an end-to-end purchase flow. Built a monitor on the browser's Performance API to baseline channel-change time, then cut it by moving channel-logo loading to preloaded assets.

Coordinated two simultaneous OTT product streams across a ~16-person cross-functional org spanning Web, Android, iOS, and Smart TV. Delivered 18+ epics end to end, writing functional specifications, translating Figma designs into implementation stories, and coordinating stakeholders across five countries. Spearheaded a Smart TV launch on major platforms, coordinated live ad delivery, drove the Multichannel EPG (vertical virtualization + D-pad spatial navigation), and led an analytics restructuring to GA4 + QoE analytics.

Frontend engineer on a large web streaming platform, built on Next.js. Rebuilt the web video player from scratch, replacing an off-the-shelf player foundation with a custom HTML5 solution on hls.js. Redesigned the main content carousel's architecture and rendering logic, measurably cutting the time-to-first-render of the visible tiles (measured with User Timing marks). Built Chromecast integration end to end, restructured routing across live audio / VOD / podcast areas, delivered the Search page redesign, and contributed to accessibility work (ARIA, VoiceOver) across web, iOS, and Android.

Worked across the full stack on OTON, a web-based management platform for ISPs operating fiber networks. Built core modules: subscriber management with role-based access control, PON/OLT/ONT network-equipment monitoring, and a billing module covering invoice generation, payment tracking, and subscription-plan management.
